We aim to reimagine what a comprehensive training hub for agroecological growing would look like; courses where the training is centred at the heart of the experience, with the field based work in support of the learning outcomes.
Our vision is a hub that offers courses at a range of Level 2 – 4 to meet the needs of learners. This will include:
– Short one day a week courses for 12 weeks running at a Level 2 to allow people to explore and understand the principles of agroecological and regenerative growing and decide if this is something they wish to dive deeper into.
– A year long Level 3 programme where participants receive a balance of classroom and field based teaching in organic and agroecological growing, alongside supporting skills in business management, marketing, people management and more.
– Level 4 courses that allow people to further develop key parts of their skills and build more sustainable businesses
– Further support through a Farmstart and Mentoring programme.
We are running our first Level 2 course in Regenerative Land-Based Systems between Feb and May 2026. This is a Crossfields accredited course that has been designed by the Apricot Centre in Devon and that we are really excited to be bringing to Bristol for the first time. This course is running 1 day per week from mid-February 2026 to the end of May (12 weeks with a 2 week break over Easter), and taking place on a growing site in East Bristol. We hope that by running this pilot course we can show the need and evidence for further courses and help leverage ongoing funding to continue offering the course.
