GroundSchool is a learning centre for the food and farming community. Founded by John Cherry and Joanna Bowen, co-founders of Groundswell festival, GroundSchool aims to empower and enable those who wish to discover better ways to farm, flourish, grow and nourish.
We offer a range of workshops through the seasons ranging from market gardening to agroforestry to business & enterprise skills. We also have weekly volunteer days, and are developing a paid and accredited apprenticeship for new entrant growers. See middlegroundgrowers.com for more info on courses and training. Hands on learning opportunity
Small scale regenerative Market Garden
We aim to reimagine what a comprehensive training hub for agroecological growing would look like; courses where the training is centred at the heart of the experience, with the field based work in support of the learning outcomes.
I have many years experience in offering training and one to one advice to small to medium sized agro-ecological and land-based businesses.
