Emergent Generation is a network of young people (18 – 35) and experienced stakeholders building a food system that nourishes people and the planet, following regenerative and agroecological principles. Whether you’re farming, researching, advising, buying, cooking, studying, a curious customer or exploring where you fit, you’re welcome. Join us to connect with peers, the wider sector, and across generations.
We aim to:
1) ENABLE young people to share knowledge, resources, skills, opportunity, and inspiration.
2) ENCOURAGE each other to create or engage in activity that has impact and celebrate successes.
3) EMPOWER our diverse community to build an agroecological food system and regenerative future.
Through events, skills & knowledge workshops, farm visits, and meet-ups, members build skills and knowledge in a community that encourages everyone to take their next step, whatever that looks like. As a member you’ll hear about opportunities in jobs, land, volunteering, and learning, receive invites to our unique range of events, benefit from subsidised tickets and get our monthly newsletter full of news and opportunities and much more…!
You may be hands-on, behind the scenes, or still figuring out your next steps. You might work in, or around food, land, water or the environment, or simply interested in learning more. Whether you want to be inspired, share ideas, find a buddy, or mentor others, this is a network shaped by the people in it – come as you are, and help us grow together.
