Innovative Farmers is the leading farmer-led research network across the UK. We support farmers across all sectors to work with other farmers and researchers to trial innovative practices which increase farm sustainability, resilience and/or animal welfare. Activity includes on-farm trials, farm visits, webinars, conferences and producing open-source results on the outcomes of the trials.
As part of this, we run various learning networks to focus on specific practices such as feeding willow to lambs, using livestock for bracken management, growing flax for textiles and perennial green manures in horticulture.
Both the Innovative Farmers network and our topic-specific learning networks are open to all and free to join.
