GroundSchool is a learning centre for the food and farming community. Founded by John Cherry and Joanna Bowen, co-founders of Groundswell festival, GroundSchool aims to empower and enable those who wish to discover better ways to farm, flourish, grow and nourish.
A newly launched course is designed to give participants the skills and confidence to take rare grains from seed into wider production, while gaining a deeper understanding of the politics of grain sovereignty in the UK.
This a special land based programme combining traditional theory with hands on practices, intentionally designed to reconnect you to your ancestral memory and encourage pathways to elemental regeneration.

The Graduate School of the Environment’s MSc in Sustainable Food and Natural Resources explores a variety of issues linked to food system sustainability, focusing on climate mitigation and adaptation in food and natural resources, natural climate solutions, and food and land management systems.

Held over six weekends with one assessment at the end, expect to come away with a design and a business plan for your space, whether real or for the future.
