This document explores different models for offering certificated training, accredited training, work placements and apprenticeships on your farm. It has been produced by TALC in collaboration with OrganicLea and the Landworkers’ Alliance.
As the UK Agroecology movement grows and deepens, so does the question of how we best build, share and recognise skills and learning in this field. The aim of this document is to provide an overview of the currently available options for farmers and growers interested in developing accredited or certificated on-farm training.
We cover different models for delivery, funding opportunities, case studies and hear from learners who have been part of these programmes. We explore the role that TALC hopes to play in developing strands of work and look to where changes might be upcoming in the sector.
